Ready to take your sewing skills somewhere new? Learn the specialized techniques behind creating your own swimwear, from selecting the right stretch fabric and understanding fit to working with elastic and achieving professional finishes. Taught by Samantha Jepson, former UNLV sewing instructor, this two-part intensive gives you the time and guidance needed to work confidently with challenging stretch fabrics.

Who This Class Is For
This class is designed for intermediate sewists who are already comfortable using a sewing machine and completing basic garment projects. It’s a great fit for anyone ready to expand their skills, work with stretch fabrics, and learn more specialized garment-construction techniques.

A mini happy hour with select drinks will be available. Guests must be 21+ to consume alcoholic beverages. Non-alcoholic options will also be offered.

Meet Your Instructor
Samantha Jepson is a Las Vegas native, designer and lifelong sewist with 16 years of experience bringing creative ideas to life. With experience teaching at the university level, she loves sharing her knowledge and helping others build confidence behind the sewing machine. Samantha currently runs her own custom leatherwork business and has a particular passion for creating swimwear and bikinis. When she’s not sewing, you’ll find her spending time with her two cats. At Stitch & Sip, she’s excited to share her skills, creativity and love of sewing with the community.
