Easy Pillowcase
Build your sewing confidence with a simple and practical project you can complete in one class. In this beginner-friendly workshop, guests will learn how to measure and cut fabric, sew straight seams, finish raw edges, and assemble a pillowcase from start to finish. This class is a great introduction to sewing and leaves you with a finished project you can use at home or give as a handmade gift.

What You’ll Make
Guests will create one finished standard-size pillowcase using their choice of available fabric. Depending on the class design, the pillowcase may include a coordinating cuff or decorative accent.

What to Bring
Everything needed for class is provided. Guests are welcome to bring:
Your own sewing machine, if preferred
Your own fabric, if you have a specific print in mind
A standard pillow for size reference
Who This Class Is For
This class is perfect for first-time sewists, beginners looking to practice essential sewing skills, and anyone interested in completing a useful handmade project. No previous sewing experience is required.
Happy Hour Note
A mini happy hour with select drinks will be available. Guests must be 21+ to consume alcoholic beverages. Non-alcoholic options will also be offered.
Cancellation Policy
Due to limited seating and class preparation, all bookings are final. Guests may reschedule up to 48 hours before class, subject to availability. No-shows and same-day cancellations are non-refundable.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in, get settled, and choose your workspace. Class begins promptly at the scheduled time.

Meet Your Instructor
Ramona Giwargis is a Las Vegas–based sewist, emerging fashion designer, and veteran journalist who believes creativity is best shared in community.
Her journey into fashion includes earning a Fashion Design certificate from UNLV and the Nevada Association of Fashion Design, along with additional training at the Trade & Fashion Academy. As a member of the Las Vegas Fashion Council, Ramona participated in Eco Couture Vegas 2025 and earned first place in the Student Social Media Competition.
Through Stitch & Sip, Ramona brings together her love of sewing, storytelling, and meaningful connection to create a welcoming space where people can learn new skills, express their personal style, and enjoy the creative process together.
